چکیده
We study thermodynamics and critical behaviors of higher-dimensional Lovelock black holes with non-maximally symmetric horizons in the canonical ensemble extended phase space. The effects from non-constancy horizon hole via appearing two chargelike parameters thermodynamic quantities third-order are investigated. find that Ricci flat nonconstant curvature show behavior. This is an interesting feature not seen for any kind Einstein or gravity literature. examine how various phenomena such as standard first-order small-large transition, a reentrant zeroth order transition happens flat, spherical, hyperbolic depending on values coefficient parameters. While spherical third constant observed only $7\leq d \leq11$, our solution criticality exist every dimension. With proper choice free parameters, large-small-large occurs. process accompanied by finite jump Gibbs energy referred to zeroth-order transition. For case $\kappa=-1$ novel behavior found which three points could exist.

A Note on Thermodynamics of Black Holes in Lovelock Gravity
The Lovelock gravity consists of the dimensionally extended Euler densities. The geometry and horizon structure of black hole solutions could be quite complicated in this gravity, however, we find that some thermodynamic quantities of the black holes like the mass, Hawking temperature and entropy, have simple forms expressed in terms of horizon radius. The case with black hole horizon being a R...
متن کاملThe Lovelock Black Holes
Lovelock theory is a natural extension of Einstein theory of gravity to higher dimensions, and it is of great interest in theoretical physics as it describes a wide class of models. In particular, it describes string theory inspired ultraviolet corrections to Einstein-Hilbert action, while admits the Einstein general relativiy and the so called Chern-Simons theories of gravity as particular cas...
متن کاملDilaton black holes with squashed horizons and their thermodynamics
New charged solutions describing black holes with squashed horizons in 5D dilaton gravity are presented. The black hole spacetimes are asymptotically locally flat and have a spacial infinity R× S →֒ S. The solutions are analyzed and their thermodynamics is discussed by using the counterterm method.
متن کاملThermodynamics of Rotating Charged Black Branes in Third Order Lovelock Gravity and the Counterterm Method
We generalize the quasilocal definition of the stress energy tensor of Einstein gravity to the case of third order Lovelock gravity, by introducing the surface terms that make the action welldefined. We also introduce the boundary counterterm that removes the divergences of the action and the conserved quantities of the solutions of third order Lovelock gravity with zero curvature boundary at c...
